Dev Ops Developer with strong expertise in Dev Sec Ops  practices, CI/CD automation, and Git Lab CI, contributing to secure, reliable, and scalable digital application and cloud engineering solutions in the United Kingdom.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls across the software delivery lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, compliant releases.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab CI for digital applications and cloud-hosted services.
• Implement Dev Sec Ops  practices by integrating security checks, code scanning, and compliance controls into CI/CD workflows.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes to improve delivery speed, reliability, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to define and refine pipeline requirements and standards.
• Configure and manage Git Lab CI runners, environments, and integrations with other tools and platforms.
• Monitor pipeline performance, reliability, and security, and drive continuous improvements and optimizations.
• Support cloud engineering initiatives by enabling automated provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD issues, resolve pipeline failures, and provide root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Contribute to the definition and adoption of Dev Sec Ops  best practices, guidelines, and documentation across teams.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security, compliance, and governance requirements in all automation and deployment activities.

• Strong understanding of digital application and cloud engineering concepts, architectures, and patterns.
• Ability to work in an agile environment, supporting iterative delivery and rapid feedback cycles.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple work streams, and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Commitment to secure coding, secure configuration, and proactive risk management in Dev Ops practices.

• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Developer or similar role focusing on Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD automation.
• Hands-on expertise in Git Lab CI, including pipeline design, configuration, and optimization.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  tooling such as static and dynamic code analysis, dependency scanning, and security testing integrations.
• Strong knowledge of scripting or programming languages commonly used in CI/CD and automation (e.g., Shell, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services used in digital application and cloud engineering environments.
• Understanding of configuration management, infrastructure as code, and environment automation concepts.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, version control practices, and branching strategies.
• Awareness of security best practices, compliance requirements, and secure deployment methodologies.
