Technology Operations Engineer I This role is ideal for an early-career systems Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on Linux exposure and system monitoring experience looking to master complex application workflows and expand into enterprise cloud platforms. Role:
Monitor all customer facing environments (Production, Certification, New Release, & Disaster Recovery) within the Clearing & Trading business units;
Remediate systems & application issues in these environments;
Escalate in a timely manner following guidelines developed within the dept, to appropriate next level of support;
Accurately report incidents to management Principal Accountabilities:
Learn and execute triage, escalation protocol and recovery procedures per application/business area Utilize monitoring systems and company tools to ensure system stability at all times and ensures all incidents are acknowledged in a timely and efficient manner Learn specific application flows and general functionality by application Document timeline of events for incident reporting and post mortem Other qualities we are interested in:
Basic proven Linux knowledge Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise, especially in critical and high-pressure scenarios Established communication pattern/experience with internal and external customers; regional, local, in-person and/or virtual Cloud based platform experience (GCP, AWS) a bonus.
