Develop, articulate, and own the comprehensive AI strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunities.

Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across product development, service delivery, and internal operations.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research, technologies, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and application within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the re-structuring and governance of enterprise data to enable AI-driven insights.
• Identify and deliver high-value AI/ML use cases, particularly in drug development and commercial strategy.
• Build internal AI capability while overseeing and challenging external vendors.
• Translate complex technical insight into compelling business narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Act as a thought leader across the business, helping shape the broader data and digital strategy.

Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Minimum of [e.g., 8-10+] years of experience in the field of AI/ML, with a significant portion spent in hands-on development and deployment of machine learning models.

Proven track record (minimum [e.g., 3-5+] years) of leading, managing, and mentoring AI/ML teams or significant projects.

Deep technical expertise in core AI/ML concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), NLP, computer vision (as applicable), reinforcement learning, etc

A strategic technologist with deep experience in AI/ML and, ideally, exposure to LLMs (not required).

Able to balance hands-on delivery with influencing at the highest levels of the organisation.

Strong communicator, comfortable leading in fast-paced, change-heavy environments.
