AI & Technology Risk Auditor - Lead Consultant

Your role in the team Internal Audit provides independent assurance and advisory services that help Allstate manage risk, strengthen controls, and improve business performance. As emerging technologies transform the organization, Internal Audit plays a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control frameworks across technology, data, and AI-enabled solutions. The Lead AI & Technology Risk Auditor is a senior audit professional responsible for leading complex technology and business audits across high-risk and emerging technology domains, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), advanced analytics platforms, and cloud-native technologies.

This role serves as both an audit leader and subject matter expert, designing and executing audit strategies that evaluate the effectiveness of technology controls, AI governance practices, model risk management, automation frameworks, and data-driven decision-making systems. The Lead AI & Technology Risk Auditor provides independent assurance over AI-enabled solutions while helping the audit function evolve through the adoption of AI-assisted auditing techniques, data analytics, automation, and innovative audit methodologies.

Working closely with business leaders, technology partners, risk functions, and audit teams, this individual influences audit strategy, mentors auditors, and helps ensure that Allstate's adoption of AI technologies remains secure, compliant, ethical, and appropriately governed.
