Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Applications Analyst to join our growing Digital team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, configuration and optimisation of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system estate. As a subject matter expert within your designated area, you will help shape the way clinical and administrative teams work, ensuring our digital systems support the highest standards of patient care.

You will have the chance to influence how innovative technologies, including AI-powered Ambient Voice Technology, are used to enhance clinical efficiency, improve staff experience and support better outcomes for patients.

Working closely with clinicians, operational teams, managers and digital colleagues, you will lead on the configuration, development, testing and implementation of Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) solutions, maximising the benefits of Artificial Intelligence (AI) available within the T-Pro product. You will help drive innovation and support the adoption of modern, efficient and safe digital workflows across the Trust.

Knowledge Requirements

Essential Good understanding of current NHS systems

Understanding of change management theory and processes

Expert understanding of clinical, administrative and/or operational workflows and processes in a hospital setting

Expert in application configuration of systems to support clinical, administrative and/or operational workflows and processes

Knowledge of the application of Risk Management within an application environment

Knowledge of different application coding methods i.e. Python, CSS, Java script, SQL Desirable

Understanding of NHS operational and/or clinical management

Understanding of Information Governance Understanding of User Centred Design (UCD)

Skills Requirements

Essential Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills for a range of audiences, including stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Ability to negotiate and utilise persuasive skills when engaging with senior staff and stakeholders

Track record of stakeholder engagement high attention to detail, including production of plans subject to time pressure

Ability to provide sound judgement and give professional advice and support

Excellent MS Office skills, especially proficiency with MS Excel Advanced IT skills, with a focus on EPR system configuration, optimisation, and aligning clinical and administrative needs

Analytical and business process skills to assess, optimise, and translate complex clinical workflows into effective system configurations

Ability to present and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
