Fixed-Term (12 months) - Full Time Hours Salary: AG7 - £36,122  (£1,971 salary supplement p.a.) As a Senior ICT Infrastructure Analyst, you will assist in the smooth running of the ICT Infrastructure team, providing a secure and reliable ICT environment for Assembly Members, Party Support and Secretarial staff located in Parliament Buildings, as well as for MLA constituency offices located throughout Northern Ireland.

A major part of this role will focus on the areas of server and network management. 365 email systems, MS Azure environment, and experience in MS Defender and Sentinel Support and administration of a TCP/IP based network including support of 2 or more of: remote access equipment, firewalls, switches, or routers Ability to analyse business requirements and produce logical solutions which satisfy customer needs while proactively seeking opportunities for improvement in work processes and service delivery Good interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to explain computer concepts to customers in non-technical terms Ability to plan and organise a heavy, diverse, and unpredictable workload, delivering high-quality work to ICT standards using best practice methods Ability to work as part of a team, managing and influencing people and resources to meet agreed plans and objectives Responsibilities Technical Support
- Provide technical support and advice to customers, diagnosing and resolving problems effectively, and classifying/prioritising issues. Systems & Cloud Management
- Patch and update MS Windows Server operating systems in Hyper-V 2019, support services in Microsoft Azure and manage Active Directory and cloud identity. Network & Email Administration
- Manage and configure TCP/IP network equipment (switches) and maintain MS Exchange 2016 / Office
365 email systems. Cyber Security & Disaster Recovery
- Support ongoing monitoring of cyber security controls, operational cyber requirements and disaster recovery / contingency planning. Solution Delivery & Operations
- Support in-house developed applications using Microsoft technology (Dev Ops pipelines, Company Portal), maintain standard device configurations and support secure remote access.
