£45,000 - £70,000 DOE + Benefits Fully Remote (UK)

The RoleWe're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to validate releases, identify issues before production, and ensure solutions perform reliably across software, networking, cloud, and Embedded platforms.
You’ll work closely with engineering teams, investigating defects, testing real-world scenarios, and helping drive product quality across the entire technology stack.
Ideal Candidate Essential Skills- Experience testing networking, Embedded, or distributed systems
- Linux troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs and routing
- Knowledge of LTE, 5G, SIMs, APNs and cellular connectivity
- Strong defect reproduction and root-cause analysis skills
- Excellent written documentation skills
- REST API testing, JWT, authentication flows and mTLS
- TLS, certificates, PKI and X.509
- Server-Sent Events (SSE)
- Security testing and RBAC validation
- Packet capture and protocol analysis
- Mock Servers and test fixtures
- Firmware and platform testing
- Linux networking tools and diagnostics
- OpenWRT, LEDE or Embedded Linux
- Multipath or bonded networking
- Terraform or Ansible
- Cellular test environments
- Chaos engineering
- Automated testing frameworks
- Must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance
- Sponsorship is not available
- Executing test plans across firmware, networking, cloud, and management platforms
- Identifying edge cases and failure scenarios
- Testing platform behaviour during network outages and degraded conditions
- Validating configuration deployment across connected devices
- Performing security, certificate, authentication, and permissions testing
- Reproducing customer-reported issues
- Supporting release sign-off activities
- Defining quality metrics and improving test coverage
- £45,000 - £70,000 DOE + Benefits
