We are looking for a Junior Data & Business Intelligence professional to join a growing data team and help develop the way an organisation uses data to support better decisions.

This is an opportunity for someone early in their data career to gain hands-on experience working with data pipelines, reporting, analytics and modern cloud data technologies.

You will work alongside experienced members of the data team, helping to build and maintain reliable data solutions while developing your technical and analytical skills.

We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines .

Depending on your experience, you will have the opportunity to contribute to areas such as:

• Helping build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Working with data from different sources, including cloud systems, databases and APIs
• Supporting the development of data models for reporting and analytics
• Working with modern data platforms and technologies
• Helping maintain data quality, accuracy and reliability
• Supporting BI dashboards, reporting and data analysis
• Investigating data issues and helping identify solutions
• Contributing to data and analytics projects across the organisation
• Learning and developing your knowledge of cloud, data engineering and analytics
• Sharing ideas and working collaboratively with other technical and business teams

This is a junior/early-career position , so you don't need to have experience in every area listed.

We'd be interested in hearing from candidates who have some experience or knowledge of:

• SQL and/or Python
• Data analysis, databases or data manipulation
• Data visualisation or business intelligence
• Data pipelines, ETL or data warehousing
• Cloud or modern data technologies
• Basic understanding of data modelling and analytics

Commercial experience is useful, but we are also open to recent graduates and candidates who have developed their skills through projects, education or other experience .

You will ideally be:

• Curious and keen to learn
• Analytical and comfortable working with data
• A good problem solver
• Detail-oriented and organised
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Able to communicate technical information clearly
• Self-motivated and willing to develop new skills
• Interested in how data can be used to improve business decisions

Experience or knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial, but is not essential :

• Python / Py Spark
• Databricks or similar data platforms
• AWS or another cloud platform
• SQL databases
• Data warehousing and dimensional modelling
• APIs and data integrations
• Power BI or similar BI tools
• Machine learning or advanced analytics
• Agile/Scrum environments
