We're looking for a Senior Service Now Technical Consultant / Developer to join our growing Service Now practice. While experience across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Service Management (FSM), or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) is valued, this role has a particular focus on the development, enhancement, and optimisation of Service Now Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions.
Working alongside highly skilled consultants, architects, and technical specialists, you'll play a leading role in delivering complex Service Now implementations for a diverse client base. You'll be empowered to influence solution design, contribute to technical strategy, and mentor colleagues while continuing your own professional development through Service Now learning paths and certifications.

What you'll be doing:- Leading the design, configuration, development, and deployment of Service Now solutions, with a primary focus on Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and opportunities across EAM and FSM.
- Designing and implementing scalable workflows, data models, security controls, and governance frameworks aligned with Service Now best practice.
- Translating business requirements into innovative technical solutions that support risk, compliance, asset, and field service processes.
- Developing and supporting integrations using Integration Hub, APIs, and third-party platforms to maximise business value.
- Troubleshooting complex technical challenges, driving platform optimisation, and reducing technical debt across client environments.
- Mentoring junior team members and promoting engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on the Service Now platform.
- Practical experience implementing and developing Service Now Integrated Risk Management (IRM), including risk, control, compliance, and issue management processes.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Service Now scripting, APIs, Service Portal, and UI Builder.
- Strong understanding of Service Now platform architecture, integrations, security, and Dev Ops practices.
- Relevant Service Now certifications aligned with your area of expertise.
- Experience delivering technical solutions within complex enterprise or multi-client environments.
- Experience with Service Now Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and/or Field Service Management (FSM).
- Expertise in CMDB implementation and governance, including CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- ITIL v3/v4, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
- Experience working within self-hosted and/or domain-separated Service Now environments.
- Service Now implementation certifications relevant to EAM, FSM, or IRM.
- Experience with in Public Sector or government organisations, alongside project leadership and mentoring experience.
Full-time, Permanent.
Location:UK Wide / Hybrid.
Security Clearance Level:SC Cleared or eligible for SC clearance.
Salary:£50,000 - £70,000 per annum
