Job Title:
Technical Support Engineer
Salary: £28,000- £30,000 – open to discussions based on experience
Location:
On-site in Belfast
Contract:
Permanent, full-time
Work Pattern:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
We are working with an established and growing technology and telecommunications business that is looking to strengthen its technical support function by expanding their Technical Support team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first line technical support to business customers across telecommunications and connectivity services.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical issues relating to VoIP, telephony, broadband and associated network services.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, voice and service-related faults through a structured approach.
- Log, update and manage support tickets, ensuring accurate records of issues and resolutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the products and services supported by the business.
- Previous experience in technical support, IT Support or helpdesk environments.
- A good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical customers.
