In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable software delivery. You will automate processes, manage infrastructure, and build CI/CD pipelines to speed up development and deployment. By integrating tools, monitoring systems, and fostering collaboration between teams, you will help the organization deliver high-quality software faster and with greater stability.
Professional Training/Experience:
- Hold a relevant professional qualification, engineering/numerate degree, or equivalent experience.
- Hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the software industry, ideally delivering infrastructure.
- Experience with process-driven approaches (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Cloud / Kubernetes certifications a plus

- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, manage personal time and productivity.
- The ability to work with others as well as work independently to achieve effective outcomes.
- Follow established infrastructure standards.
Experience:
- 4+ years hands‑on experience in a Dev Ops, SRE, or Platform Engineering role
- Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins ( Groovy scripting) with Git workflows via Bitbucket or Git Hub
- Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar tooling.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining high-availability workloads in Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience automating and orchestrating workloads for large-scale enterprise organizations
- Experience managing and maintaining cloud solutions Azure, AWS—as well as private cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash or groovy to automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog
Experience:
- Experience of data platforms within Kubernetes and Cloud Offerings (Postgres and MongoDB)
- Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops practices, including information, data, and cyber security principles (e.g., secret management, vulnerability scanning)
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior/mid-level engineers
- Cloud or Dev Ops Certification
