We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in SAP S/4
HANA Security to support the reliability, availability, performance, and security of enterprise SAP systems within a banking environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with SAP Basis, Security, Infrastructure, Dev Ops, and application teams to maintain secure and resilient SAP landscapes, automate operational activities, and ensure compliance with banking security standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the reliability, availability, and performance of SAP S/4
HANA environments. - Manage SAP security administration, including user access, roles, authorisations, and permissions.
- Support SAP role design, segregation of duties (SoD), and access control reviews.
- Monitor SAP systems, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement automation for routine operational, security, and monitoring tasks.
- Support SAP system upgrades, patches, security notes, and vulnerability remediation.
- Work with SAP Basis and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot production issues.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with banking security policies, audit requirements, and access governance controls.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4
HANA environments. - Strong knowledge of SAP Security, roles, authorisations, and user administration.
- Experience with SAP Basis operations and production support.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Experience with system monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting for operational tasks.
- Understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience in banking or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori security, SAP GRC, and segregation of duties.
- Experience with SAP HANA database security.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and observability tools.
- Familiarity with security audits, risk management, and compliance controls.
A candidate combining SAP S/4
HANA Security expertise with production reliability, automation, and operational support experience.
