We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded Belfast-based law firm to recruit a Criminal Defence Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated solicitor to join a respected team offering high-quality legal representation across all levels of the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients at police interviews, Magistrates' Court, and Crown Court.
• Exercise strong advocacy skills, managing a caseload of criminal defence matters with professionalism and confidence.
• Attend prisons, conduct client consultations, and represent at parole hearings.
• Deliver practical, strategic legal advice with a client-focused approach.

Requirements:

• Experience in criminal defence with a solid understanding of the criminal justice system in Northern Ireland.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to attend court, police stations, and other required venues.
