Hayward Hawk is proud to be partnering with a leading global law firm to recruit two ambitious Solicitors for their expanding Belfast team. This is a standout opportunity for a litigation solicitor with a strong interest in Personal Injury work to join a highly regarded team handling complex, high-value and sensitive claims. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of litigated Personal Injury matters, including Serious Injury, Catastrophic Loss, EL/PL and Disease claims, within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

The Role You will:
Manage a varied caseload of litigated Personal Injury claims from instruction through to resolution. Handle Serious Injury, Large Loss and Complex Loss cases with strategic oversight. Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical evidence, instructing experts and interviewing witnesses. Draft pleadings, schedules of loss, defenses, witness statements and settlement documentation. Provide clear, empathetic and commercially focused advice to clients and insurers.

Develop case strategies to achieve timely and favorable outcomes. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations. Ensure compliance with procedural rules, court timetables and regulatory standards. Stay up to date with developments in Personal Injury and insurance litigation. The Candidate Qualified or Newly Qualified Solicitor with 210+ years PQE in litigation Strong experience in Personal Injury litigation (EL/PL, Serious Injury, Disease or Catastrophic Loss experience highly desirable) Solid understanding of civil procedure and litigation strategy Confident managing complex and sensitive claims Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills Strong client care skills with a commercial and solution-focused approach Whats on Offer Competitive salary reflective of experience Exposure to high-value, complex Personal Injury work Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Clear career progression within a growing team Modern Belfast city-centre office For more information, please reach out to Nicole Todd via the below -
