Clinical Negligence Solicitor

We are working with a top-tier national law firm based in Belfast who are seeking solicitors at all levels to join their Clinical Negligence team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Clinical Negligence team, providing legal services to a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals, with a focus on defence litigation. The candidate’s duties will include defending high-value clinical negligence claims and supporting clients through managing risk, complaint handling, serious incident investigations throughout the litigation process.

Throughout the role, the candidate will gain an in-depth understanding of the complexities and challenges of all areas of clinical practice frequently faced by practitioners and organisations. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NQ+;
• Strong background in medical negligence and/or dispute resolution;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
