TITLE:
Data Protection Solicitor PQE: 4-5 Years
LOCATION:
Hertfordshire SALARY: £60,000 - £70,000 (DOE)
THE ROLE:
You will advise a diverse client base on a broad range of data protection matters, helping businesses navigate their regulatory obligations, manage risk, and respond to an increasingly complex legal landscape. Your work will include advising on GDPR compliance, handling Data Subject Access Requests, drafting and reviewing privacy notices, data protection policies, and supplier agreements, and providing advice on data breaches and related regulatory requirements.
You will also have the opportunity to support clients with data protection audits and compliance reviews, identifying potential risks and helping to develop practical and proportionate solutions tailored to their individual circumstances. The role will provide exposure to both advisory and contentious matters, including assisting with the resolution of data protection disputes where required. THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with 4 years’ PQE in data protection law, with strong knowledge of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. You will have excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills, a practical and commercial approach, and the confidence to advise clients directly on complex data protection matters. A proactive approach to business development and client relationship building is also important, alongside a genuine interest in developing your career within a specialist and growing team.
THE FIRM:
Join a well-established and highly regarded law firm known for its pragmatic, solutions-focused advice, with specialist lawyers recognised by the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. The firm takes a practical, preventative approach to data protection, helping clients manage risk, stay ahead of regulatory change, and respond confidently to complex issues when they arise. THE PACKAGE:
Competitive salary and benefits package on offer, combined with a supportive and collaborative working environment, high-quality data protection work and genuine opportunities for professional development and career progression within a respected specialist team. eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
