This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in trusts and estate planning to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of private client matters, including:
• Advising on the establishment, administration and termination of trusts.
• Providing advice to trustees and beneficiaries.
• Preparing wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Advising on estate planning and associated tax considerations.
• Advising on lifetime gifts and trust arrangements.
• Obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
• Preparing deeds of variation, deeds of gift and other related documentation.
• Working alongside colleagues on a varied private client caseload. THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Private Client Solicitors with at least 2 years' experience. You should also possess:
• Experience in trusts and estate planning, with the ability to manage your own caseload.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards the qualification would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and client-care skills.
• A confident and approachable manner.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience developing strong relationships with clients and professional contacts. THE FIRM:
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established private client team within a well-regarded law firm. The team advises a diverse client base across a broad range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, tax planning and succession planning. You will have the opportunity to work on a varied caseload alongside experienced practitioners, with access to support and expertise from across the wider firm.
