Belfast / Greater Belfast | Hybrid Working | All-Ireland Remit Looking to make the move from private practice into an in-house role? I am working with a highly successful international organisation seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its in-house legal team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a few years' PQE to gain broad commercial exposure, work closely with the business and manage a varied property portfolio spanning Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The business owns and leases property, as well as leasing premises to third parties, offering genuine variety across acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters and wider property-related projects. The Role Working as part of the in-house legal team, your responsibilities will include:
Advising on commercial property acquisitions and disposals. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences, easements and wayleaves. Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including third-party lettings. Supporting the management of a substantial property portfolio. Assisting with due diligence and wider property transactions. Working with external solicitors, agents, surveyors and other professional advisers. Providing practical, commercially focused advice to internal stakeholders. Supporting wider business projects with a property or legal element.

This is a broad commercial property role rather than a purely transactional conveyancing position, offering the chance to understand the commercial and operational side of a large business. About You I am keen to speak with solicitors who have:
Qualification in Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland. A few years' PQE in commercial property. Experience across acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant or general commercial property matters. Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills. A commercially minded, pragmatic approach. The ability to manage competing priorities and build relationships with stakeholders. Previous in-house experience is not required. This opportunity would suit someone currently in private practice who is looking for a broader commercial role and a different way of working.

Candidates qualified in either jurisdiction will be considered, subject to the requirement to obtain qualification in the other jurisdiction. Interested?
