Employment law across three jurisdictions, from tribunal floor to Court of Appeal. This Associate role has it all.
A large full-service Belfast firm is adding an Associate to its employer-side Employment team, which advises across NI, England & Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
Expect to work on:- Tribunal claims, including Industrial and Fair Employment Tribunal work, and appeals
- Injunctions to enforce restrictive covenants and defence of complex group claims
- TUPE, outsourcing and the employment side of high-profile corporate deals
- Grievances, discipline, long-term absence, industrial relations and pensions issues.
- Associate-level employment experience, ideally employer-side
- NI qualification, or E&W / ROI qualification with a view to practising in NI
- Confident advocacy and clear, practical advice
- Enthusiasm for client training and know-how.
- A highly experienced team with a strong reputation
- A genuine balance of contentious and advisory work
- Cross-border matters that broaden your experience.
