As a Casual Terminal Operator you’ll be responsible for undertaking Terminal & Jetty operations, ensuring that operational and client requirements are met and in compliance with Client and SGS procedures. You will also ensure that tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, minimising any potential hazards, allowing the safe discharge of vessels at various locations.

• Help vessels dock safely and oversee the transfer of oil and gas products.
• Monitor storage tanks to make sure there’s no under filling or overfilling.
• Keep the jetty clean and safe.
• Carry out safety checks before and after ships arrive.
• Report any safety issues or incidents.

Experience isn’t required for this role. What matters is that you’re comfortable working varied hours, have good availability, and are prepared for a physically demanding, outdoor job.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
• A valid driving license.
