Senior Buyer in the Structural Standard Parts Procurement department at Airbus Belfast Limited.

• Lead and execute procurement activities for A220 wing aerostructure components, from requirement definition to contract execution and supplier management.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for assigned commodities, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Conduct thorough market analysis, supplier evaluations, and selection processes to ensure the best value for Airbus.
• Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers, focusing on pricing, terms, delivery schedules, quality standards, and long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate effectively with Multi‑Functional Teams (MFTs) including engineering, production, quality, and legal departments to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and project goals.
• Actively engage in supplier performance management, addressing any issues and fostering strong, collaborative partnerships.
• Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools within Airbus Belfast Limited.

• Minimum of an HNC in a business‑related subject or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPIM, CIPS) and at least 2 years relevant experience in a sourcing or procurement role.
• Candidates with lesser qualifications but with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience will also be considered.
• Solid IT skills and knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
• High standards of integrity, confidence and self‑motivation and the ability to build professional relationships.
