Delivery & Installation Driver 7.5T

At The Sofa Delivery Company we are a two‑person delivery team delivering experiences for DFS and Sofology.

• Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes safely and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to confirm arrival.
• Ensure furniture is delivered to the requested room and no rubbish left behind.
• Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners.
• Collaborate with team and senior managers to provide feedback and continuously improve service standards.
• Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects or missing items immediately.
• Comply with all driving laws and company policies and procedures.
• Work as part of a 2‑person delivery team, completing 10–15 deliveries a day and installing furniture in customers’ homes.

• You hold a 7.5 T licence/Grandfather rights/ROI equivalent, with an up‑to‑date Digi Tacho, CPC Card and valid manual driving licence.
• You have held a valid driver’s licence for 12 months with less than 6 points.
• You’re ready to work as part of a supportive two‑person team.
• You’re great with people and enjoy helping customers.
• You’re comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.
• You have strong time‑management skills and thrive on variety.
• You take pride in your work and value safety for yourself and others.
