Senior Operations Coordinator Role and Responsibilities

This role places you at the heart of delivering unforgettable educational events as a Senior Operations Coordinator, you’ll guide junior colleagues, collaborate closely with suppliers, and take ownership of events from planning through to delivery. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working at pace, solving problems in real time, and building strong relationships across teams, clients, and suppliers. This is a hands on role with real responsibility and the opportunity to shape the customer journey from start to finish.

  • Support the Operations Manager with onboarding, coaching, and developing junior team members.
  • Lead resort teams during events, managing logistics, timings, customer communication, and onsite problem solving.
  • Oversee the accurate planning of event logistics, including venues, accommodation, transport, meals, visits, and partner arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain both client and supplier partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate costings and ensure events are delivered within budget and agreed GP margins.
  • Participate in the 24?hour duty officer rota (after qualifying period), providing out of hours support to clients.
Senior Operations Coordinator Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members.
  • Strong understanding of travel operations and group logistics.
  • Confident problem solver with a proactive, can do approach.
  • Ability to work at pace, manage deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of budgets.
Senior Operations Coordinator Key Benefits
  • Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with options to work 08:00 – 16:00, 08:30 – 16:30, 09:00 – 17:00, 09:30 – 17:30 (flexible working hour requests can also be considered around term time).
