**** About the Role
** We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Buyer Projects to join our Procurement team and play a key role in supporting our growing Hyperscale and Industrial Projects business.

This position will be responsible for managing strategic sourcing activities across project-related spend, delivering commercial value, mitigating supply chain risks and driving procurement best practice. Working closely with project, engineering, sales and operational teams, you will ensure that procurement activities support successful project delivery while achieving cost, quality and supplier performance objectives.

As a key member of the procurement function, you will help strengthen supplier relationships, improve commercial controls and support the continued growth of our project portfolio.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead sourcing activities for Hyperscale and Industrial Projects, ensuring best value, quality and delivery performance.
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support business growth and project delivery requirements.
* Manage tender processes from initial market engagement through to supplier selection, negotiation and contract award.
* Negotiate supplier pricing, terms and framework agreements to maximise commercial benefits and reduce project costs.
* Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships to improve performance, innovation and continuity of supply.
* Work closely with Sales, Project Delivery, Engineering and Operations teams to support project requirements and procurement planning.
* Qualify bills of materials (BOMs) and sourcing requests, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
* Perform spend analysis to identify savings opportunities, supplier consolidation opportunities and process improvements.
* Monitor supplier performance using agreed KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
