Position: Oven and Appliance Cleaner / Technician

THE EMPLOYER IS: THE OVEN AND APPLIANCE CLEANING COMPANYWe are a family run company with nearly 20 years’ experience in the services industry. The main service we deliver is oven and appliance valets and we operate across Northern Ireland and throughout the Republic of Ireland. We are looking for an organised oven cleaner to help deliver day to day operations and ensure the smooth delivery of our service.

You will be joining a welcoming and supportive team that offers ongoing training and development opportunities. The role involves cleaning domestic appliances (ovens, hobs, extractor fans, washing machines, fridge freezers etc.) at customer premises i.e. private houses, businesses, holiday lets etc. You will be partnered with an experienced appliance technician for training until you are ready to work independently in a company van.

Your diary will be scheduled for you and jobs will be located in Northern Ireland with adhoc travel to the Republic of Ireland to deliver appliance valets. Ongoing training will be provided to support the successful candidate as they progress and settle into the role.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out professional valeting of domestic and commercial kitchen appliances (e.g. ovens, hobs, extractors, dishwashers, washing machines).
  • Drive to customer locations using company vehicle.
  • Process customer payments, including basic cash handling and card transactions.
  • Complete light administrative tasks i.e. job checklists.
  • Follow daily schedules efficiently, adapting to changes in route or job length.
  • Manage stock levels of cleaning products and supplies in the van.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in basic digital skills e.g. iPad.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills working with the public and within the team.
  • Full clean driving licence.
