Duties and Responsibilities:
Always ensuring the safety of passengers in compliance with current legislation - specifically health and safety legislation; and public health best practice. Undertaking all necessary vehicle maintenance and safety checks are undertaken and properly documented and recorded. Ensuring the minibus is maintained internally and externally in immaculate condition. Responsibility for opening and securing the building. Undertaking the supervision of young people entering and leaving the building.
Being aware of and challenging any unauthorised personnel on site. Assisting with the organisation of the building and/or rooms for training activities or functions including moving furniture and furnishing. Providing support to other colleagues and young people when required. Regular building checks and reporting to ensure full contractual and legal compliance. Any other duties as may be reasonably requested or required.
Essential Criteria : GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C and above (or equivalent) Hold a valid full clean driving licence with provision for minibus on licence A minimum of 1 years previous experience of driving passenger carrying vehicles 6 months experience of key holder duties (responsible opening and/or closing premises) Desirable: 6 months experience in a building general caretaker role
