Overview
Radius Housing is launching Radius Direct Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary established to enhance and supplement our current property maintenance operations. Radius Direct supports the delivery of essential services including servicing, planned maintenance, minor works, and repairs. The formation represents an investment in improving service delivery to respond to growing sector demands and tenant expectations. Radius Direct will focus on void property relets to minimise turnaround times and bring vacant homes back into use more efficiently.
It will also deliver a range of compliance-related services to ensure Radius Housing meets statutory and regulatory responsibilities in an evolving housing environment.
At the heart of Radius Direct is a dedicated team of multi-trade operatives who will work alongside existing staff and external contractors to provide a responsive, integrated maintenance service. This will combine in-house expertise with trusted partnerships to deliver high-quality outcomes for our tenants.
The introduction of Radius Direct reflects Radius Housing's commitment to enhancing service standards, increasing operational flexibility, and reinforcing our focus on tenant wellbeing. By bringing additional capacity in-house, we aim to deliver a service that is efficient, compliant, proactive, and community-centred.

Salary: £26,000-£27,000
Location: Belfast based, with occasional travel across Northern Ireland
Role DescriptionThe Property Clearance Operative is responsible for clearing, cleaning, and preparing vacant properties for reoccupation or refurbishment. This includes the safe removal of furniture, waste, fixtures, and fittings. The role supports the organisation in maintaining housing standards and turnaround times for void properties.
Shortlisting Criteria- Experience in property clearance, waste removal, or similar manual work.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Full current UK driving licence (if travel is required).
