Facilities Management

Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments? We are looking for enthusiastic Cleaners to join our Facilities Management team in a variety of full-time and part-time positions.

As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring council buildings and facilities are maintained to a high standard for staff, visitors and members of the public.

Key duties include:

• Cleaning offices, corridors, meeting rooms and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing and vacuuming floors and carpets.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities.
• Using cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Handling and storing cleaning chemicals in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Supporting council events when required, including cloakroom and kitchen duties.
• Working independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent cleaning services.

We're looking for individuals who have:

• Experience carrying out cleaning duties, including the use of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of the safe use and storage of cleaning products and chemicals.
• A strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work both independently and within a busy team environment.
• A conscientious, reliable and positive approach to work.
