Job Overview
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Maintenance Technician forms part of a team of three in the Charity’s Maintenance Team. The team is responsible for maintaining the internal and external premises to an exceptionally high standard by carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures. The role supports a safe, well‑maintained and fully functional environment for staff, pupils, young people and visitors.
Occasionally, the role will involve participation in larger scale projects.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance activities for the school’s facilities.
- Respond to and repair reactive maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and Charity policy.
- Assist in larger scale projects as required.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Salary: £30,458.91 per annum for 40 hours per week.
