Are you passionate about caretaking, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our Facilities Team.
About the RoleBased in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (S33), you will be working 9.75 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 16:00-18:00, Fridays 16:00-17:45 (some flexibility may be allowed). You'll play a key role in providing high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness.
Your responsibilities will include- Waste management
- Porterage
- Light decorating
- Maintenance work
- Cleaning
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly Fire checks
- Key Holder
- Great customer service and communication skills and experience in similar setting (Caretaking, Maintenance, Trades, Handy-person, etc)
- A Team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.
- The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind.
- Listening and responding to colleagues, customers and suppliers to achieve the best outcome.
- The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance standards are met.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following health.
