Level 2 Welding Inspector Anticipated start:
From 21/09 Rate: £24.20 per hour £8 per hour travel allowance TA:
Only paid to candidates living 39 miles from site The role will involve supporting fabrication projects, carrying out weld inspections and ensuring work meets approved procedures, drawings, specifications and relevant standards. We're looking for: CSWIP 3.1 / PCN Level 2 Welding Inspector BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline Strong fabrication and welding inspection experience Knowledge of FCAW, GMAW/MIG, SMAW, GTAW/TIG and SAW Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols Knowledge of welding defects and relevant standards Shipbuilding/classification experience advantageous Good IT skills, including Word and Excel Strong focus on safety and quality Other relevant PCN/inspection qualifications may be considered.
