Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

Hayward Hawk is partnering with a global professional services firm thats expanding its Belfast presence and is now looking to add a Project Manager to the team. This role suits someone whos comfortable operating at the intersection of delivery, change and advisory someone who can lead complex programmes while helping clients prepare their people, processes and leadership for whats next.

Youll be joining a rapidly growing consulting practice within a global professional services organisation, working at the forefront of retail banking transformation. The work is varied, client-facing and genuinely consultative this isnt a role focused on status reports and action chasing. What the role really looks like Day to day will vary by client, but youll typically be:
Leading retail banking transformation programmes (payments, product development, remediation programmes, operating model change) Acting as a trusted advisor to Heads of Product, Product Strategy and Transformation Owning work streams or full programmes end-to-end, sometimes within large, multi-stream environments Supporting business readiness, people and change not just technical delivery Working closely with directors and senior stakeholders, and operating confidently at that level Contributing to proposals, tenders and new client opportunities Coaching and developing junior colleagues, rather than working in isolation The background that fits Theyre open on the exact path youve taken, but this will usually suit someone who has: 5+ years experience delivering projects in financial services Strong exposure to retail banking transformation or consulting environments Some experience supporting proposals, bids or solution design Formal certifications help (PRINCE2, PMP, Change, Lean / Six Sigma, BA certs), but they care more about real capability than collecting badges Why people choose this team A genuinely consulting-led environment, not a PM production line Strong focus on culture, collaboration and backing each other The chance to work across both local and international banking clients Flexible, trust-based, grown-up ways of working A close-knit Belfast consulting team, supported by a much larger global platform What youll get in return:
