About the role
This is a full time permanent post

You will be responsible for engineering and supervisory functions related to the day-to-day operations of the council’s Giants Park North Foreshore Site at Dargan Road.
About the departmentThe Property and Projects Departmentoverseesthe council’s capital investment programmes, which include more than
200 live projects valued at over £200 million.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Management Unit– Operating the Portfolio Office, ensuring the effective delivery of capital projects.
- Estates Management Unit– Managing council land, property assets, and investment portfolios, supporting urban regeneration.
- Programme Delivery Unit – Leading the design, construction, and delivery of physical regeneration projects.
- Property Maintenance Unit– Ensuring council buildings remain legally compliant, safe, and fit for purpose.
This department plays apivotal role in shaping Belfast’s built environment, ensuring council assets are strategically developed and maintained to support the city’s growth.
