The Role – Corporate Audit Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven Corporate Audit Manager to join our growing Northern Ireland practice. This is a key role with responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of corporate audit clients, leading engagement teams and acting as a trusted adviser to clients.

You’ll combine strong technical audit knowledge with excellent people and client management skills, playing a vital role in the continued growth and success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of private sector audit clients
  • Identifying audit risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards and regulations
  • Training and mentoring team members, developing their professional skills
  • Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
  • Overseeing the financial management of your portfolio
  • Contributing to the firm’s Business Development initiatives
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • ACA and/or ACCA qualified
  • Proven experience in corporate audit, including managing a client portfolio
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long‑lasting client relationships
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating audit risks
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in developing junior staff
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to business development
  • A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
