Quantity Surveyor​/Project Manager

Quantity Surveyor/ Project Manager CSR are working on behalf of a Co. Antrim contractor seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/ Project Manager. Based primarily in Head Office in the Greater Belfast area, you will play an integral role within the business and be a main point of contact for clients. Reporting the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of contracts.

Ideal applicants will have a QS background, and have the ability to build and develop excellent business relationships with a range of clients:

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Prepare Bills of Material. Preparation of purchase requisitions. Communicate with supplies and sub-contractors. Manage Subcontractors Ensure that all components supplied meet the relevant building regulations and contractual requirements. Agree design approvals and maintain relevant document transmittal records. Work with the Design and Sales team on commercial issues such as project proposals, estimates, operational planning Maintain contact and relationships with clients and staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Person 3-5 years' experience minimum in a construction related environment Familiarity with building regulations and contract documents Flexible and adaptable approach as part of a small team Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and staff Ability to organise and prioritise personal workload. Commercial awareness and negotiating skills 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline A competitive salary will be on offer to the successful applicant.
