Change Manager

Location:

UK-Flexible (Hybrid)

Salary Range: £39,496 - £42,257 per annum

Hours:

35 per week

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Are you passionate about helping people feel confident, supported, and empowered through change? Do you thrive on shaping complex transformation journeys while bringing others with you every step of the way? As a Change Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping how people experience change across the organisation. You'll be part of our central change delivery team, supporting frontline UK humanitarian services through coaching, advice and trauma-informed change practice.

Working closely with leaders, project teams, and specialists, you will design and deliver people‑centred change plans that help colleagues and volunteers understand, adopt, and sustain new ways of working. You will act as a trusted partner, offering expert guidance, coaching, and insight to support complex programmes. You will also contribute to building lasting change capability, helping to strengthen how change is delivered across the organisation.

What will a day in the life of a Change Manager involve?
  • Partnering with leaders and project teams to shape clear, people‑focused change approaches.
  • Delivering change activities that support smooth transitions into new ways of working.
  • Coaching managers and colleagues to lead change with confidence and clarity.
  • Monitoring challenges and feedback, adapting plans quickly to keep change on track.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to encourage engagement.
  • Supporting organisation‑wide initiatives and strengthening how change is delivered overall.
To be a successful Change Manager, what will you need?
  • Hold a recognised change management qualification or bring equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of modern change methods, tools, and people‑centred approaches.
  • Communicate clearly and build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to deliver shared outcomes and support complex programmes.
  • Apply a structured and people‑focused approach to managing change from start to finish.
  • Be willing to travel across the UK and work flexibly when needed to support teams and deliver change effectively.
