Warehouse Shift Manager

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Mon to Thurs 8:00 to 17:00, Friday 8:00 to 15:00

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and meet the agreed service level agreements.

• Managing a safe operation and role model a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards
• Ensure that Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) of operational processes are up to date, available at relevant places for employees and that employees are working according to the standards established
• Act as the first point of contact for the customer relating to site operation matters and build a good relationship to develop trust and ensure strong engagement
• Understand the root causes of performance results and set actions with your direct reports and Operations Manager for improving the results
• Demonstrate an active leadership style, taking full responsibility for driving an engagement culture in your area of responsibility

• Proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment, ideally in a supervisory or shift management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multi-functional teams, including both office-based and warehouse colleagues, to achieve operational targets.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transport planning processes, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard IT tools, with the ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards, with a track record of maintaining a safe working environment.
