Thanks to our growing client relationships across the country, our teams are tackling an exciting range of projects across the regulated water industry. These opportunities are enabling us to continue our growth, and we are looking to appoint a Project Manager to be based at our office in Belfast.
About the RoleIn this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of water sector projects, ensuring they align with client expectations and adhere to Stantec’s Project Management Framework.
You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. A key part of your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating risks early, addressing issues proactively to keep projects on track.
You will also manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure both financial and operational targets are met. Regular reporting will be required, and you’ll prepare and present updates and documentation to a range of internal and external audiences.
Your ImpactAs a Project Manager at Stantec, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary water sector projects across all stages of the project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About You- Must have experience in the Water industry with prior experience of project management and commercial management essential.
- Industry recognised chartership qualification such as the CEng or similar, likely.
- Industry recognised project management qualification such as the APM’s Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or similar, likely.
- Experience of managing multiple deadlines and ability to demonstrate successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track record of successful project management and proactive risk management and mitigation.
- Experience of leading and mentoring team members in project and commercial management.
- Embodies passion for innovation and client service, with ambitions to tackle a range of challenges as the team grows within the sector.
