As the Team Lead for our Food Services division, you will play a crucial role in expanding Musgrave’s footprint in Northern Ireland, driving sales, enhancing profitability, and managing a high-performing team. You will be the driving force behind exceeding sales and margin targets, developing new business, and growing existing relationships with customers. What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead with Impact:
    Empower and inspire your team to exceed sales and margin targets, developing new business and growing existing accounts to maximize profitability.
  • Develop the Musgrave Market Place brand: build strong working relations with industry trade bodies including the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation, Hospitality Ulster, LCN and City Councils, to support the Food Service industry in Northern Ireland and create business partnerships with key influencers.
  • Shape the Future of Food Service:
    Identify and secure new customers while expanding the range and supply offerings to current clients, ensuring cost efficiencies and growth.
  • Coach and Develop Talent:
    Provide guidance and mentorship to your team to help them reach their full potential and drive results.
  • Maintain High Standards:
    Ensure all accounts adhere to Musgrave’s credit terms and manage territory costs efficiently while maximizing resources.
  • Drive Excellence:
    Deliver superior customer service by fostering excellent communication and effective administrative practices.
  • Collaborate for Success:
    Work closely with internal departments and lead cross-functional projects to deliver and execute the annual food service commercial plan.
  • Strategic Leadership:
    Use your commercial acumen and strategic thinking to lead projects, manage budgets, and make key decisions that contribute to the long-term success of the business.
Experience, Skills and Education What We’re Looking For
  • Proven Experience:

    At least 2 years of experience in a sales management or commercial management role, with a proven track record of achieving outstanding results.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Experience in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams to meet and exceed targets.
  • Communication Excellence:
    Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strategic thinker who can innovate, solve problems, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Commercial Acumen: A keen understanding of business profitability, cost management, and the drive to improve performance.
  • Energy & Drive: A proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic and a passion for achieving excellence.
