OverviewLead Consultantslead teams todevelop, deliver and managehigh endIT Asset Management (ITAM) consultancy services into enterprise organisations especially in the key areasof software licensing, compliance and optimisation reporting, Cloud migration,Hardware Asset Management(HAM),ITAM policy and process,and audit support.
TheLeadITAMConsultant is a leaderin our managed service and consultancy delivery teams.
As well as engaging directly with theclient, Lead Consultants are accountable for the delivery ofoutcomesto support managed services and professional services.
Lead Consultants are also expected to proactively pursue software publisher specialisms,showcaseexpertiseinternally and externally,and developmorejunior members of the team.
The role requires an eye for detail, an analytical mindset,experiencedevelopingteams,and leading clients to realise the wider benefits of effective ITAM over and above software licence compliance.
Lead Consultants are accountable forthesuccessfuldelivery ofmanaged services and professional services engagements,and the continuous improvement of Synyegamaterials.
Delivery
Leadingthedelivery and management of services to clients ensuring a consistently excellent level of servicewhileeffectively managing
Synyegaresource.
Coordinatingeffective service delivery across multiple concurrent work streams andmaintainingmilestone tracking, dependency management, and sequencing.
Ensuringclientobjectivesare met and that the client derives the best possible value from their software licensing arrangements.
Identifying and developingnewclient engagement practices including, but not limited to, technical solutions, process and project management, software assetmanagementand wider ITAM practices.
Leading the delivery of more complex pieces of consultancy such a Target Operating Model (TOM) creation and implementation or Cloud Migrations.
Supporting and advising on commercial discussions and deal preparation strategy and tactics.
ProducingaccurateELPs from a variety of data sources for various software publishers.
Producing Optimised Licence Positions (OLPs), including detailedlicence optimisation and risk remediation options.
Translating delivery activity into a measurable risk and optimisation narrative.
Leadingvalue storytelling within governance forums and QBRs.
Maintaining service documentation such as risk logs, opportunities trackers and service RAID logs.
Supportingclients in audit defence strategies and environments.
Operating as part of the Synyegateam, contributing to client engagement planning and delivery.
Maintainingup to date industry knowledge of Publisherlicensing,policies and practices.
Creation of training to support in embedding the ITAM practice.
Client Management
Acting as a trusted partner to clients, buildingtrustand strengthening relationships with all stakeholders.
Setting andmaintainingclear expectations on service scope,timelines and outcomes.
Taking accountability for the delivery of services to assigned client(s).
Accountability for ensuring the quality of deliverables is metforassigned client(s).
Actingas the primary operational point of contact for assigned account streams.
Leadingstructured governance rhythms (weekly, monthly, steering committees),presentingdeliverables andachievementsandmanagingclient expectations.
Translatingclientobjectivesinto prioritised and controlled delivery plans.
Managing senior stakeholders and providingserviceupdates including risksand opportunities, options formitigation andclear calls to action.
Continuous Improvement & Business Development
Supporting sales activities in new and existing customer accounts for example by providing
Publisher subject matter expertise.
Maintainingkey client relationships to ensure client retention and development.
Development and on‑going improvement ofbusinessservices.
Defining,maintaining,improving and monitoring
Synyegadocumentation, report templates, deliverystandardsand working practices across the team.
Developing and implementinginternal processes to ensure
Synyegaservices are efficient and cost/resource effectiveanddelivered to a high standard.
Leading the training,mentoring and development ofthe ITAM Delivery team.
Team Management
Actingas a member of the Delivery Leadership Team and a liaison between the team andsenior management, ensuring clear and consistent communication between teams within
Synyega.
Settingclear goals andobjectivesfor the team, aligningITAM Deliverywithcompany goals.
Managinga team, providing guidance,support and performance feedback.
Fosteringa positive team culture that encourages collaboration,innovation and continuous improvement.
Providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, supporting their professional growth.
Managingresourcing activities, including recruitment, onboarding,training and forecasting.
