We are currently recruiting foran Assistant Contracts Manager join our team-based at A&O Shearman, Belfast. This isa great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
- 37.5 hours per week
- Week 1 - 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Week 2 - 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Week 3 - 11:00am – 7:30pm
- 25 days’ annual leave (pro rata)

- Co-ordinate and assist with managing daily operations of office assistant and cleaning functions
- To assist with recruiting, onboarding training and monitoring staff plus maintaining staff records
- Organise adequate staff annual or sick leave cover
- To cover reception duties ensuring all staff follow proper procedures for entering and leaving the building, that visitors are correctly recorded and badged
- Ensure that the team provide an efficient service at all times ensuring that all service areas are fully stocked and well presented
- Review and develop on a daily basis, systems, standards and procedures in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
- Understanding the client’s operating policies and ensuring the unit and the team operates within those policies.
- To comply with the Company Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
- To provide excellent customer service to all persons you deal with
- Proven experience in operations management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent financial management and budgeting experience.
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Strong networking skills and business development experience
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speaking and listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis
