We are currently recruiting foran Assistant Contracts Manager join our team-based at A&O Shearman, Belfast. This isa great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Week 1 - 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Week 2 - 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Week 3 - 11:00am – 7:30pm

The Role
  • Co-ordinate and assist with managing daily operations of office assistant and cleaning functions
  • To assist with recruiting, onboarding training and monitoring staff plus maintaining staff records
  • Organise adequate staff annual or sick leave cover
  • To cover reception duties ensuring all staff follow proper procedures for entering and leaving the building, that visitors are correctly recorded and badged
  • Ensure that the team provide an efficient service at all times ensuring that all service areas are fully stocked and well presented
  • Review and develop on a daily basis, systems, standards and procedures in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
  • Understanding the client’s operating policies and ensuring the unit and the team operates within those policies.
  • To comply with the Company Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
  • To provide excellent customer service to all persons you deal with
The Person
  • Proven experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Strong networking skills and business development experience
  • Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speaking and listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis
