About Camphill Village Trust

Camphill Village Trust is a national charity that has been supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs for more than 70 years.

Across nine communities in England, the Trust enables people to lead meaningful, independent and connected lives through high-quality, person-centred support, underpinned by a strong commitment to inclusion, community and opportunity.

About the role

As the organisation enters an exciting new chapter, Camphill Village Trust is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to build on the significant progress made through a period of transformation and lead the Trust into its next phase of growth and impact.

The successful candidate will shape the future direction of the organisation, bringing people together behind a shared vision, strengthening organisational culture and ensuring outstanding, values-led care remains at the heart of everything they do.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a dynamic, values-led leader with an exceptional senior leadership track record of success in an organisation of similar scale and complexity. Our new CEO will combine strategic vision with humility, authenticity and the ability to bring people together. This is a role for someone who leads through collaboration and empowerment, creating an environment where people feel valued and inspired to achieve their best.

You will have a proven track record of leading complex organisations through periods of significant change, with experience of operating within a regulated environment and driving quality and sustainability. Whilst direct social care experience would be highly valued, it is not essential. We are equally interested in leaders from aligned sectors who bring a genuine understanding of the social care landscape, transferable experience and the curiosity to learn.

You will be an exceptional people leader, capable of developing high-performing teams, building strong external relationships, and acting as a credible ambassador for the organisation. Commercial awareness, financial acumen and experience of developing strategic partnerships or fundraising opportunities would also be advantageous.

Above all, we are looking for someone whose values align with our own. A visible, compassionate and inclusive leader who is excited by the opportunity to spend time across our communities, listen to the people we support and our colleagues, and lead Camphill Village Trust with openness, integrity and purpose.
