Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Branch Manager on behalf of a leading insurance broker. The Branch Manager will take responsibility for the implementation of sales, marketing and performance improvement strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain morale, motivate and ensure staff deliver appropriate standards of ethical behaviour, whilst maintaining workflow, targets and team development.
• Maintain quality throughout the team, imparting knowledge and using your experience to ensure best practice and outstanding customer service is achieved throughout the branch team.
• Carry out audits on incoming calls and enquiries to monitor response times and the accuracy of information provided.
• Identify training needs for the effective and timely development of the team in product knowledge and customer service skills and feed these needs back to the Operations Department.
• Deliver on targets agreed with the Directors ensuring the achievement of the personal lines key performance indicators and sales targets.
• Ensure the maintenance of records and secure handling of information, in accordance with the firm's own record keeping requirements and following data protection rules, to include Health & Safety, First Aid & Fire Safety at a branch level.
• Actively seek feedback from customers/staff and respond appropriately to feedback received.
• Identify trends and remedy/raise any recurring or systemic problems.
• Be aware of compliance and best practice at all times with the requirements of the firm's own procedures, the Financial Services and Markets Acts and FCA or subsequent regulations and contribute to, and follow at all times, the firm's policy on Treating Customers Fairly.
• Maintain professional competence by ensuring all staff comply at all times with the Training and Competence procedures of the firm for all insurance activities and liaising regularly with the Directors.
• Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

• Previous supervisor/sales management/business improvement experience.
• Progress towards ACII or business management qualification.
• Thorough understanding of Open GI system.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Awareness of FCA and the impact of regulation upon the business.
• Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the market.
