Electrical Contracts Managers - Excellent Opportunity
A leading Building Services Contractor based in NI wishes to employ an experienced Electrical Contracts Managers.
You will be responsible for effectively and professionally leading the day-to-day Design and Construction management on projects, including procurement, installation, and commissioning. Your aim is to deliver within budget and programme to the satisfaction of the building services contractor & client. Leading the electrical project team, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the projects, ensuring programme deliverables and project profitability is maintained/ maximised.
You will ensure that the project teams and supply chain work in a safe manner at all times.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent the company at meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities in this area
- Lead the management of design consultants to ensure information is provided to suit the procurement strategy, manage the production of working drawings by trade contractors within the given time frames
- Ensure that all work methods are sufficient to meet the projects needs
- Ensure that the master programme and schedule of deliverables for the project is development, meeting the requirements of the brief and the clients' expectations.
- Oversee all works of the trade contractors, contributing to the selection of key specialists, suppliers, productions including the production of working drawings, procurement and prefabrication and performance on site.
- Develop clear, detailed and practical measures of performance to meet project objectives.
- Regularly inspect works for compliance with design and report on progress, ensuring remedial action is taken within agreed timelines.
Contracts Managers with a proven track record within the Building Services Industry are encouraged to apply.
- You will possess demonstrable experience as an Electrical Project Manager/ Contracts Manager on
- Likely to hold professional qualification
- Ensures that the organisation/ department delivers high quality service
- Understands/ manages internal client relationships/ partnerships
Salary range from £60K-75K depending on level on experience to include company car, healthcare and pension.
Travel to England is required 1-2 days per week maximum.
