The London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) and The University of Law (ULaw) have officially launched an exciting strategic partnership, combining the strengths of two institutions within the Global University Systems network to enhance the delivery of career-focused education.
From the 2026/27 academic year, ULaw will provide the academic framework and award qualifications for its management and hospitality programmes delivered at and by LCCA. Students joining these programmes receive a ULaw award, while studying at LCCA London campuses and being taught by LCCA colleagues.
We are looking for a Programme Director
- Collaborative Partnerships who will be responsible for task management and development of academic teaching delivery staff The Programme Director – Collaborative Partnerships provides the strategic academic leadership for the University's partnership with the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA).
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position, working from one of our Business School campuses (London Moorgate, London Bloomsbury, Birmingham or Manchester) and remotely.
As Programme Director
- Collaborative Partnerships you will be acting as the University's academic lead for the partnership, providing oversight of programme quality, governance, regulatory compliance, academic standards and student outcomes. Specifically:
- Provide strategic academic leadership for the University's partnership with LCCA.
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with senior academic leaders within LCCA.
- Lead the academic implementation of the partnership and contribute to its future strategic development.
- Ensure the partnership operates in accordance with University academic regulations, policies and procedures.
- Lead operational governance on behalf of the Business School.
- Ensure curriculum, assessment and programme delivery meet University quality standards.
- Oversee programme approval, modification and annual monitoring processes.
- Ensure effective monitoring of Continuation, Completion, Graduate Outcomes, NSS, Student satisfaction and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the partnership complies with all relevant regulatory requirements such as Office for Students (OfS), Conditions of Registration, HESA returns
- Build effective relationships with academic and professional service teams across both organisations.
- Ensure students studying through the partnership receive an experience consistent with University expectations.
- Monitor student engagement, wellbeing, retention and success
The ideal candidate will have significant senior leadership experience within Higher Education, as well as knowledge of UK Quality Code, OfS regulatory framework and consumer protection requirements. You will be a strategic leader, with an excellent standard of stakeholder and partnership management. You will have/be:
- Postgraduate qualification in Business or relevant discipline
- PgCHE or equivalent and Fellow of Advanced HE
- Knowledge of access and participation, academic governance and collaborative provision
- A solutions focused, strategic thinker, with strong personal accountability
- Committed to continuous improvement
