Belfast, Northern Ireland VANRATH are recruiting a Mechanical Contracts Manager to work for a leading M&E Contractor, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000  DOE  car / allowance / package Benefits Include:

Leading M&E Contractor that have been operating for decades, providing M&E services across the UK and Ireland. The business has a great reputation for delivering quality projects on time, on budget, safely and to first class standards. They work across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, health, education, leisure and residential. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage mechanical contracts from pre-construction through to completion Ensure all contractual, financial, and programme requirements are achieved Manage procurement of materials, plant and subcontractor packages Provide clear leadership and direction to project teams, site supervisors and subcontractors Maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, updates, and professional communication Oversee labour allocation and resource planning to ensure effective project delivery Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and company policies Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required Promote innovation, sustainability, and digital tools (e.g. Procore, BIM, MS Project) in project delivery Criteria:
Degree or HNC in Building Services or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Proven experience delivering mechanical projects within the M&E or construction industry Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and control costs Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc) Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships Working knowledge of NI/UK and ROI regulations and standards For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Robert Apps for a confidential discussion IND
