Repairs Scheduling Manager

Location:

Hybrid/Stevenage Salary: £52,995 - £62,345 per annum pro rata

Hours:

39 per week Contract Type:
Fixed Term Contract until July 2027 (secondment cover)

Are you an experienced Repairs Scheduling leader who thrives on improving performance, developing people and delivering an exceptional customer experience? We’re looking for a Repairs Scheduling Manager to lead and support a team of around 60 Repair Planners, Team Leaders and Planners, creating a high-performing environment where people can succeed and customers receive a seamless repairs service.

You’ll play a key role in developing our ‘ideal repair booking experience’, building a centre of excellence for repair bookings through accurate diagnosis, effective scheduling, proactive customer communication and timely resolution.

You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the Contact Centre, Digital and other booking teams, Out of Hours providers and field‑based teams to deliver a consistent, efficient and customer‑focused booking process, ensuring the right operative, with the appropriate skills and capabilities, is assigned to resolve the repair in the customer’s home.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience leading repairs scheduling or resource planning teams, ideally using dynamic scheduling systems.
  • Is an inspirational, hands‑on leader who can motivate, coach and develop first‑line leaders and their teams.
  • Builds strong relationships and works collaboratively with colleagues and senior stakeholders to identify problems, deliver change and drive service improvements.
  • Leads by example, empowers others and is passionate about delivering results while improving the customer experience.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our office in Stevenage. Candidates will be expected to work flexibly between the office and home depending on business needs. You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this vacancy;
