The Lead GP, Virtual Primary Care is the senior clinical and operational leader for Spectrum.
Life's regulated Virtual Primary Care service.
This is a full-time leadership position responsible for the clinical leadership, operational management, governance, regulatory compliance and strategic development of the service.
The post holder reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer and forms part of the senior clinical leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant delivery of Spectrum.
Life's regulated Virtual Primary Care services including:
- 24-hour, 7-day Virtual Primary Care service
- General Practice consultations
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner consultations
- Clinical triage within the regulated service
- Psychiatry consultation service delivered under the registered service
- Psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and management
- Prescribing of non-controlled prescription medication undertaken within the psychiatry consultation pathway
- Future regulated clinical services incorporated into the Virtual Primary Care model

Requirements:- Medical degree with full registration and a license to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in primary care.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably within digital health or telemedicine services.
