Director of Adult Social Care

A Council in South West England is seeking an exceptional Director of Adult Social Care to lead a significant and complex portfolio and help shape the future of adult social care across the district.

This is a high-profile system leadership role, spanning statutory adult social care, safeguarding, transformation and health and care integration. Working alongside the Directors of Public Health and Children's Services, you will provide collective leadership across the People service and play a pivotal role in shaping the Council's wider strategic direction.

As a member of the Corporate Management Team, you will work closely with elected members, NHS partners and the voluntary and community sector to influence change across organisational boundaries and deliver better outcomes for residents.

You will be politically astute, collaborative and resilient, with the ability to navigate complexity, build strong partnerships and translate strategic ambition into tangible outcomes.
