FPS Operations Manager

The Role As an FPS Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of business, payment and customer-facing services. You will work closely with senior management, lead teams and contribute to service development, operational improvements and strategic projects. Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the day-to-day management of business, payment and customer-facing services. Leading and managing teams to deliver against agreed targets, SLAs and objectives. Identifying opportunities for service improvement and supporting the development of new processes and services. Monitoring service performance, data quality, financial controls and operational risks. Managing and contributing to projects, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved. Building strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Analysing complex information and preparing reports, performance data and recommendations for senior management. Deputising for senior managers when required and taking ownership of defined operational areas.

The Person We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: A degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance or IT, alongside at least 2 years' relevant Payment, Finance or IT experience, including experience at management level; OR At least 5 years' relevant Payment, Finance or IT experience, including experience at management level. Proven experience managing or leading teams within a target-driven environment.

Experience working with a diverse range of internal and external customers and stakeholders. Experience developing or improving business processes and procedures. Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills. A demonstrable track record of delivering measurable improvements within an organisation. A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
